FoodBytes! Awards & Winners

This award was established at the first FoodBytes! event in San Francisco in 2015 and has been a part of the event ever since. Attendees at FoodBytes! events have the opportunity to vote for their favorite 3.5 minute company via SMS following the final pitch. The startup with the most votes is crowned the FoodBytes! People’s Choice Award winner.

The People’s Choice Award winners from San Francisco, New York, and Austin will be invited to present and display their products at Rabobank’s premier invitation-only Food and Agribusiness Summit in December 2017 in New York City. These events attract C-suite representation from over 300 of North America’s leading food, beverage and agribusiness companies.

  • Customers: Is the company building something that users want? Do they understand their users’ needs?
  • Sustainability: Does the team/product work to increase food production in a sustainable way? Is it working to improve the triple bottom line – people, profit and planet?
