On 3 June 2026, Foodbytes is hosting its first live event in Utrecht, the Netherlands, in partnership with Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs and VIV Europe. A day built around one simple idea: turn digital connections into real ones, and real conversations into real progress.
Since day one, Foodbytes has been bringing together corporates, investors, startups and knowledge leaders from across the food & agriculture sector. Connecting people. Sharing insights. Spotting the innovations that matter. Now, we're taking it back offline.
What to expect
The day is built around three intimate roundtable sessions, each with a maximum of 8 participants. Seating is curated - deliberately composed to put the right people across the table from each other. You'll receive your table assignment one week before the event.

Alongside the roundtables, the programme include keynote speaker Roland van der Vorst, inspiring presentations and startup pitches. The Foodbytes programme runs from 10:00 to 17:00 on 3 June, with a catered lunch break and informal networking at midday.

VIV Europe 2026
The Foodbytes event takes place on day two of VIV Europe 2026 - one of the world's leading trade events for the animal protein production sector, running 2–4 June at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. Besides the Foodbytes registration you have full access to all three days of VIV Europe, giving you ample time to explore the exhibition floor, meet exhibitors and make the most of your time in Utrecht.
