Protix Thailand Sustainable Feedstock Partnership & Supply Network
Protix is seeking partners to build a sustainable supply base of agricultural and food-processing co-products that can support large-scale insect protein production in Thailand while creating value through circular economy solutions. Formalization of the initial step of the partnership through LOI (letter of intent) or MOU (memorandum of understanding).
Description
Protix is seeking long-term partnerships with agricultural processors, food manufacturers and agri-industrial companies capable of supplying co-products suitable for Black Soldier Fly rearing.
Our objective is to establish a reliable network of feedstock partners in Thailand to support future industrial-scale insect production facilities. We are particularly interested in identifying partners that can provide consistent volumes of nutrient-rich organic side streams and are interested in exploring long-term strategic collaboration opportunities.
This challenge is focus on the following regions:
Region 1: Kamphaeng Phet & Central Northern Thailand
A major hub for cassava, starch production, ethanol production, tofu processing, mung bean processing and other agricultural industries.
Region 2: Greater Bangkok Area and EEC
A diverse food-processing cluster with significant volumes of food manufacturing side streams, beverage residues, tofu and soy processing co-products, bakery residues, fruit processing residues and other industrial organic streams.
Region 3: North Eastern Thailand (Nathkon Ratchasima, Buriram, Chayaphum as well as Ubon Ratchahani)
An extensive cassava cultivation, sugarcane production, rice processing and growing bio-industrial activities. The region offers access to significant volumes of agricultural and food-processing co-products suitable for circular feedstock applications.
What is Protix looking for?
We are particularly interested in partners that can offer recurring annual volumes, consistent product quality and nutrient composition, and long-term supply commitments. We also value opportunities for strategic partnerships or co-location, as well as a shared interest in advancing circular economy initiatives.

Carbohydrate-Rich Streams
Cassava pulp
Cassava starch residues
Cassava fibre
Bakery by-products
Rice processing residues
Fruit/ vegetables processing residues
Sugar processing side streams
Other carbohydrate-rich organic materials
Protein-Rich Streams
Okara (soy pulp)
Tofu manufacturing residues
Soy processing co-products
Fermentation cakes
Brewery and distillery co-products
Ethanol fermentation residues
Mung bean processing residues
Spent yeast
Other protein-rich food processing streams
Mixed-Nutrient Streams
Food manufacturing side streams
Beverage processing residues
Agricultural co-products suitable for insect farming
