FoodBytes! is returning to London in November for its second edition with a selection of pitch companies that are innovating in different ways across the entire breadth of the global food chain. Fifteen startups were selected from a large pool of international applications spanning 5 continents and 38 different countries.
These applications are driving innovation in a number of areas in the food system that are in need of change due to rising labor costs, supply chain inefficiencies and more. We saw many game-changing trends leading the revolution in the current food system and redefining consumers’ expectations. Among the applicants, popular subsectors include plant-based and personalized nutrition, sustainable packaging, robotics, smart supply chains and future farming solutions.
