Cyrille Filott is global strategist for Consumer Foods, responsible for setting and executing the research agenda for the Consumer Foods franchise within Rabobank globally. This includes thematic and industry research as well as company insights.

Based in Utrecht, the Netherlands, he is a business economist with a great deal of experience in fund management and equity research. Since the beginning of 2014 he is the strategist for the Consumer Foods sector. He joined the research team at FAR (Food & Agribusiness Research and Advisory) in 2008. Before he worked at M&G Investments in London and ING Investment Management in The Hague. Prior, he earned a Master’s degree in Economics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam and also holds a VBA designation.

Maarten Ooms is a managing director in the European team of the bank’s Financial Advisory and Solutions group. As part of his responsibilities, he assists young growth companies with the raising of capital in private placement rounds.

In August 2017, Maarten returned to Rabobank London, after a 4.5 year assignment to Rabobank in Hong Kong where he was responsible for rolling out the Global Client Solutions and Asset Based Finance capabilities in the Asian region.

Maarten joined the Utrecht Structured Finance team at Rabobank in January 2001. As of October of that year, he transferred to the London Structured Finance team. His responsibilities included the execution and origination of structured finance transactions with large corporates and financial institutions. In July 2007, he became the head of the London team where he oversaw the transition of the business from Structured Finance to Global Client Solutions, aligning the business with the international strategy of Rabobank.

Prior to joining Rabobank, Maarten was a tax lawyer at Arthur Andersen Amsterdam from 1995 to 2000. As part of the global High Tech Telecoms team, he advised various international customers on their international corporate tax affairs and advised on a number of M&A transactions in the sector.

Maarten holds a Masters Degree Tax Law from the University of Leiden and a Post Graduate Degree on European Fiscal Studies at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. He speaks English, Spanish, Dutch, German and French.

Richard joined Rabo Private Equity in 2010 and is responsible for the Rabo Food & Agri Innovation Fund, a captive Rabobank Eur 50m VC fund investing into early stage food and agri-tech startups. Launched in 2017, with mandate to invest into Seed to Series B stage companies in Europe and USA that bring a game-changing value proposition to the F&A arena, and which will benefit from Rabobank’s strategic and international reach.

Financial market trader and entrepreneur by background, Richard serves on the boards as a Director or Observer of current portfolio companies Biolumic, Vence, Telesense, 30Mhz. He holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Bristol and is ACCA qualified.

Severine brings more than 15 years of experience in Strategic Consulting and Operations, with a strong focus on strategy, marketing, and innovation.

Strongly inspired and influenced by the work and legacy of her friend, the neuropsychiatrist David Servan-Schreiber, and particularly his investigation on how to better prevent cancer through the “healing powers” of food, Severine was keen to pursue his vision and leverage his insights to positively influence people to eat and live more healthily and change the Food and Ag System over the long-term.

She worked as a VC for Quadia, a Swiss Investment Fund where she was leading the investments in Food and Agtech where she backed great enterpreneurs in seed, series A and B like Ynsect, Infarm, Food Assembly,  Winnow, Olio, OPoisson.

Severine has been an active angel investor as well as a coach and advisor to many start-ups founders. She is also very keen to support more women entrepreneurs and investors.

She is currently runs Matador Ventures, a boutique advisory company where she advises large Food Corporates on innovation,  how to work with start-ups, deal origination and also invest in Food and Agtech start-ups on behalf of family offices.

In 2015, Severine was nominated one of the top 30 Women Leader’s in Tech at the Women’s Forum with Nathalie Massenet, Sophia Amoruso, Jessica Alba, etc.

I have been driven to feed people since I first learned how to make biscuits & toffee for school cake sales and for this I thank my Irish Nana who also loved food and was the original food waste warrior (“go on, eat it, please don’t make me throw it away”). Nothing gives me more pleasure than cooking a meal and having people walk away from my table feeling full and happy.  I’ve been at Compass Group now for 4 years, first as Marketing Director UK & Ireland, and more recently as Growth & Innovation Director for the Group. I love working for a business which believes in the power of food to do good for people and the planet. We are excited about disruption in the food industry, and how this challenges us to think differently about the future, working with innovative suppliers and partners.

Prior to Compass Group I have spent my career building experiential and emotion led brands in health & beautycare (P&G), premium and luxury wines and spirits (Diageo, Moet Hennessy) and creating new food offers and store formats for Costa Coffee.

Outside work I compensate for my love of food with short but intense bursts of exercise, and live in Buckinghamshire with my husband, two children & two maine coons. I always win at Beat the Intro.

Keri is a finance professional with almost 20 years experience of NPD, Investment Projects and Strategic Business Modelling within FMCG businesses. Since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with BDO London she has worked within the Commercial Finance team at Cadbury UK where she was involved in evaluating new product launches and capital investment projects. She also headed up the Sales Finance team where she implemented a promotional evaluation tool, evaluated key customer JBPs and led the finance team in a detailed review of Revenue Management and price and promotional mix alongside McKinsey & Co.

At Saputo Dairy UK Keri has lead the Operations & Group Procurement finance team where she developed the long term models to support the major investment in Functional Ingredients at the Davidstow site. Within the Business Development team Keri is responsible for building the long term strategic plans and evaluating a wide range of strategic growth opportunities across all product categories.

Keri holds a BSc in International Business & French and spent a year at ESC Marseille-Provence (now Kedge Business School).
